[Erenville could not really begin to imagine what E'kayan has been through. He did not, admittedly, know the miqo'te well enough. He also did not know that the reaction was due to a previous event, although he could guess well enough that it came from somewhere. This was not the first time he had been injured during a commission. And his fellow gleaners did not react with this amount of alarm in the past. So, Erenville knew this was not usual.
Still, though, he would not pry. If anything else, he felt somewhat guilty that he had induced this kind of reaction in the first place. He should have been more mindful.
