[Did adventurers have duties? Erenville wasn't sure, but he had heard about the "disbandment" of the Scions. Not that he believed it. But he did know that they had been quiet for some time, with E'kayan being a simple adventurer for awhile. He deserved the quiet, so Erenville had not wanted to be a bother.]
[With Ereville leaning forwards and E'kayan settled back against the couch cushions he finds himself in a prime position to quietly observe the other man. He glances up Ereville's back, lingers briefly on the back of his head, then lifts his eyes slowly up along the length of his long ears.
Funny, how he could find such comfort in someone who was almost a stranger. Though, maybe not so much now. Living with someone could do that.]

[Because of course he was right. The Scions had been disbanded officially, but they had continued to act in the shadows... as they used to.]
